SEND

Our SEND team work to support the special educational needs of our students, tracking, monitoring and evaluating their progress towards their EHCP outcomes and implementing interventions where appropriate. All staff can refer a student to the team for further intervention or support or request support for their own knowledge, skills and practice.

The special educational needs coordinator (SENCo) and his team link closely with the teaching staff. This ensures that the education provided links well with pupils’ targets in their education, health and care (EHC) plans. Pupils make good progress academically and with their EHC plan targets.
